Job Description

Sales Specialist  Creates new business leads and STARTEK awareness. Manages innovative marketing campaigns to generate qualified sales leads within targeted vertical and sub-vertical markets. Expands the demand generation pipeline and accelerates our sales and revenue growth. Maintain relationships with clients through the close of the contract and internal company relationships with key management personnel.

Conducts cold-calling new business prospects to identify the appropriate procurement/vendor management and business owner contacts in order to begin the relationship building process.
Follows up on various leads generated through white papers, webinars, speaking engagements, sponsored events, email campaigns, direct mail campaigns, external business intelligence surveys, internal lead referral and external website inquires.
Identifies procurement process for new business prospect and manage necessary steps to completion.
Establishes and builds rapport with potential clients to gain insight on future outsourcing opportunities.
Identifies the business owners who are responsible for making support decision.
Establishes and builds rapport with business owners to gain insight into the company’s organization structure.
Educates prospect’s contacts on STARTEK’s value-add proposition and schedules discovery meetings with the appropriate Sales Director.
Researches companies and maintain detailed records.
Manages information supplied to new prospects to ensure their records are up to date with STARTEK’s current service offerings.
Builds, maintains and manages relationships with new business prospects so they include STARTEK in their outsourcing

Move new business from leads to STARTEK accounts defined by both pipeline and revenue growth.
Accountable for implementation of sales quotas and sales initiatives.
Supports consistent implementation of company initiatives.

Work closely with sales organization to inspect sales process quality and prioritize opportunities.
Creates and revises sales reports for distribution.
Responsible for accurate and on-time reporting
Monitors compliance with required standards for maintaining CRM data.
Supports Sales Team with developing account strategies, content development, targeting campaigns, relationship development and client visits.

Maintain Salesforce administrative duties and other related duties and responsibilities as assigned and/or required.

Job Requirements

At least 3 years of experience

Education and/or formal training:
High School diploma or equivalent related experience.
Associate Degree (AA) is preferred.

Fluent in verbal and written English.
Able to multi-task, have demonstrated organizational, detail orientation, prioritization skills and time management skills to ensure that work related activities are completed in an accurate and timely manner.
Ability to work effectively in a team oriented, high demand and fast paced environment.
Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and work with highly sensitive data and information.
Solid communication skills to effectively deal with various levels of management, staff and/or outside contacts.
Demonstrated interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a professional and positive manner.
Effective listening skills to ensure understanding of instructions and directions and effectively communicate progress and problems to co-workers and management.
Familiarity a variety of office equipment, standard software packages and application and use of personal computers to include the Microsoft Office suite of products.

Demonstrated analytical aptitude to identify opportunities for change, identify alternative best practice solutions and anticipate future problems and opportunities.

Ability to work with sales & technical/operational resources to develop leads and processes.
Advanced skill in customer service, establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with various contacts to successfully market STARTEK.
Ability to write reports and business correspondence and to recommend publications to others based on significance.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills including problem identification, analysis, action planning and execution
Solid ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Other position Considerations:
Travel may be required to attend work related meetings and training sessions.
May be required to work a flexible schedule that provides needed coverage for customer service levels and/or time-sensitive projects. Incumbent must be able to support operations which are opened weekends and evenings. All employees must be willing to work all shifts, overtime, holidays and emergency shifts as required.
Able to maintain a regular work schedule to meet the needs of the business.
