PAYROLL CLERK


JOB DESCRIPTION
The Payroll Clerk will be a member of the accounting staff in our Honduras office and will report to the Payroll Manager.

SUMMARY:
Responsible for supporting the Payroll functions of the Finance Department including processing of Medical appointments & incapacities, PTO, and all functions related to payroll payments.




ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned

  •          Collects and inputs all data used in payroll processing, LOA, FMLA and PTO.
  •          Review the medical incapacities, medical appointments, PTO on ADI data entry.
  •          Manage Petty Cash and reporting
  •          Manage documentation related to the program “Con Chamba Vivis Mejor”
  •          Accounts reconciliation elaboration
  •          Organize and maintain all Accounting filing


Job Requirements

EDUCATION
•         Accounting High School diploma or any related University studies

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  •         One (1) year of related experience is required.
  •         Fluent in speaking and writing English (70%)
  •         Must be detail-oriented and understand data management process to ensure accuracy
  •         Strong organizational skills. Need to be able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
  •         Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality by exercising tact and maturity in sensitive situations.
  •         Solid ability to exercise initiative and judgment within the scope of assigned authority.
