Job Requirements

Qualifications [the legal stuff| how you know if you meet the minimum requirements]. STARTEK employs brand warriors with a wide range of ages, experiences, and backgrounds. We do have a few minimum qualifications though:

Position Summary:  Analyze and forecast financial, economic, and other data to provide accurate and timely information for strategic and operational decisions. Collect, compile, verify, and analyze financial information and economic indicators so that senior management has accurate and timely information for making strategic and operational decisions on, for example, acquisitions, investments, capital expenditure, divestitures, mergers, or the sale of assets. Analyze the financial implications of proposed investments or other transactions so that senior managers can evaluate alternatives against the organization's business objectives. Evaluate industry, economic, financial, and market trends to forecast the organization's short, medium and long-term financial and competitive position. Data analyzed may include revenues, expenses, costs, prices, investments, cash flow, profits, labor market trends, inflation, interest rates, and exchange rates. ▪ Prepares weekly revenue forecasts.  
▪ Compares forecasts to actual results and analyzes for reasonableness. ▪ Prepares necessary reports: o Discrepancy reports for client management review. 
    o Composite reports as required by management. 
    o Coordinates with other departments to ensure accurate, timely, and       appropriate financial data/reports are prepared and presented to client/company management. 
   o Ensures that reports are clear and comprehensible. 
▪ Makes recommendations to improving the efficiency of the financial reporting processes and budget. Maintains and analyzes appropriate financial related data: 
   o For review and comparison to actual results. o In order to prepare forecasts for clients. 
   o To draw accurate conclusions through the use of mathematical and financial reasoning. 
▪ Researches and trouble-shoots discrepancies and open items. 
   o Provides accurate and timely feedback on discrepancies and unreasonable and unsupported financial conditions or situations 
▪ Provides financial consulting regarding pricing and special projects. ▪ Assists in the direction of work performed other team members and provides direct technical leadership of Financial Analysts. 
▪ Report on financial status throughout the year, explaining variances and creating opportunities to meet the organizations objectives. 
▪ Develops financial models to be used for budgets, pricing, new site openings, productivity and financial analyses. 

Experience:  A minimum of 5-8 years of related experience is required.

Education and/or formal training
➢ Bachelor’s Degree (BS) in Finance from a four (4) year college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience is required.

Other position Considerations:
Travel may be required to attend work related meetings and training sessions. ➢ May be required to work a flexible schedule that provides needed coverage for customer service levels and/or time-sensitive projects. Incumbent must be able to support operations which are opened weekends and evenings. All employees must be willing to work all shifts, overtime, holidays and emergency shifts as required.
